Poor service

I took my husband's iphone 4S in for repairs on 24 December 2012. The lady who helped me said that they will have to send it in as a repair. I signed the documentation to agree. She made a promise to me that we will receive the phone in 4 weeks time. However, when I phoned to inquire about progress on the repair, I was told that I have to wait as they cannot give me an answer and they will only know what is happening once the phone arrive in the store. I have numerous times tried to ask them if they cannot contact someone at the repair centre and inquire how long the repair might take. As my husband tried to phone the store this morning to inquire about his phone, a young lady (very unhelpful) informed him that they cannot say when the handset will be delivered. She lost her temper at my husband and threw the phone down in his ear. Ever since this morning, I tried numerous times to contact the store, but no answer! Please help!
