I am a Vodacom contract subscriber with 4 contracts at Vodacom. My 3G signal of my USB modem in my area is very bad. I live in The reeds, Centurion. I contacted Vodacom about the problem, whereafter they sent a consultant out to my house to test the signal. This happened and I actually thought it would be resolved.

The consultant ytold me he would have a look into it, and get back to me... this never happened. I've had to buy my own signal booster and installed it on my house roof myself. Needless to say the signal is still vry slow and sometimes just drops the signal entirely.

Why must one spend money on improving service and the supplier are just not worried about service delivery or feedback?

Same problem with one of my handsets I got from them on contract. The phone was supposed to be waterproof and got in the water, now It's not working anymore. I called 3 times to get somebody to call me back with assistance. Nothing happened... not even one call. No help at all!

Can't wait to leave this country...
