I took out a contract about 5months ago with Vodacom for the internet modem! When I wanted to start using it, it didn't work. There was not enough signal strength. I contacted Vodacom call centre and reported the problem. Eventually (after I phoned again and again) Vodacom send someone out to my house to test the signal strength, the man said there was not enough 3G signal in my area and that he will send the report through. Another month went by... I reported the problem again!!! After another hundred phone calls, they send someone out to come and test the signal again. (as if it was never done before!) The guy again told me there is not enough 3G signal and that he will send the report through. He said that Vodacom will have to come put "routers" up to strengthen the signal. That was about two weeks ago... I am still waiting!!! In the meantime I have to pay the contract every month...
This will definitely be my last time I do business with Vodacom South Africa!!!
Poor poor service!
