The last account received from 8ta last month was unpaid because of insufficient funds. Understandably, my husband's cell phone was then softlocked. On Friday, a double-debit went off - so the account is now up to date. His cell phone has not, however, been reconnected.
We called on Saturday to find out the problem, and were instructed to send through the reference number and proof of payment, which was done this morning. The cell phone has still not been reconnected.
My husband then called your call centre again. Nobody seems to know what is going on, and cannot tell him when he will be reconnected!
His contract is due to expire this month; this is the first time we have had a problem that needed resolving, and we are met with less than helpful staff. With this experience, we are seriously considering moving his contract to MTN - with whom, in 14 years, I have never had issue.
