We bought a B660 modem a while back from the MTN store. When checking our area for signal strength in the store for the area, we were told that there was great 3G signal on MTN. I am not sure what they term great but this is the slowest connection I have every experienced on a 3G ever. My phone is through Vodacom and I get LTE on my phone at my house but the MTN 3G transfer rate is so slow, I have resorted to using my vodacom phone as a hotspot as opposed to the B660. It is on contract and I still have a year left on it so I am paying for the service but also paying for downloads on my phone if i need to find information in a hurry. We have moved the modem around the house trying to find better signal but with no luck. MTN should not tell us that they have decent signal when in fact they have an extremely poor signal in our area. I could have got a similar product from Vodacom.
