MTN Upgarde Nightmare

I am so upset with MTN. I contacted the retenches department and asked very nicely if I could please upgrade two months early as I've had endless problems with my current Blackberry. The guy was such a pleasure and siad I just had to pay two months upfront and I could get my iPhone. I paid the amount right awaybut unfortunately had to wait 2 weeks for stock. After constantly phoning to find out of they had stock I went to go get my upgrade with my receipt at Nicolway. However when I got there they gave me endless grief. Firstly they could not confirm I could upgrade and then said it was fine but I could only have a top up contract not the anytime 200 as advertised but I had to pay R50 extra a month for top up. This was not told to me before and I find this so unfair. I have top up now and do not pay extra why must I pay it now? I want to stay on MTN, that's why I asked for an upgrade instead of leaving to a much cheaper Cell C who offer a lot more. I cannot afford the extra R50 but would like to stay on MTN as I have been happy til now. Please help...
