I was very excited about my upgrade with Vodacom, off i went to Eastgate. I have been with Vodacom since i was in High school and now that i work i can afford a better contract. Anyway a consultant helps me at the store, I tell her im here to do an upgrade but first i would like to find out what phones i can get on my Top up 135? I realised that it is not the phone i am looking for and want to upgrade to the Top up 315.I asked her if i upgrade to the 315 would i be able to get a Blackberry bold 9790? She says no, i have to pay in something close to R2000.I tell her i cant do that so what are my options. She then replies saying that if i take a "Talk" package i will be able to. Ok im fine with that however what are my expenses, she tell me i get 100 free mins, and free mins to 082 numbers on weekends and that will cost R350 including the R60 for BBM, ok cool, i sign the papers. Im angry because i only found out now from a friend that i pay extra for sms's, the 126 call to find out how many mins you have left, and i pay for calls after the 100 mins are over! All i wanted was a decent phone with a fixed amount to pay every month and i still told her that! I am so upset & moving my contract!
