Still no reply to my letter as inserted below.

Up-grading of account A42030 Mob # 0833846

I approached the MTN outlet at Ilanga Mall in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga on the 6th of January regarding the up-grade to my account, the particular package, in this case, MTN Night Express on Open packages, is advertised at R129.00 for 24 months. The application form was duly completed by the consultant and signed by myself.

I was called back to the branch by 'Caroline' the consultant, as they were having a problem up-loading the contract and then informed that the system would not accept the details as there was some or other discrepancy in the price. She was unable to process the up-grade pending some action from another department. The consultant was unaware that there was something wrong with the costing.

In essence, it is not my concern that the price as displayed by the service provider indicating validity dates from 27th December to 31st January 2014, is or may, be incorrect as per the marketing material. I view this practice as flagrant false advertising, and misleading the consumer.
