MTN advertises a 9 GB 9 GB Night Express for R249 PM x 24. I applied for this contract which was approved but when I went to collect my new sim card I was informed the package doesn't exist, but costs R449 x 24. MTN is refusing to proceed with the contract as advertised and signed.
MTN's actions in this case are in contravention of section 23 (6) of the Consumer Protection Act.
Please provide the service at the advertised price in the brochure which is valid until 31 January 2014.
Today, I collected another copy of same brochure with the same price at another MTN store in Pretoria.
