Over December 2013 I went into the Canal Walk MTN branch to upgrade my data contract which is expiring in January 2014. In store, I obtained the latest MTN booklet and discussed the R129 p.m. X24 months data bundle for 5GB 5GB express with the consultant. I signed up for the contract which will take effect once my current data contract expires. I was called on 13 January 2014 and told by the consultant that the deal I had signed up for was a misprint and the actual price is R249 instead of R129. Needless to say I am fuming. The price had been advertised and therefore they need to be held accountable for the advertised pricing. I am not willing to pay more for a contract advertised for less.
