Short on rent this month, due to double debit orde

Good day,

I was in arrears, and was advised to pay the arrears amount before the due date of my debit order went off, which I did, a cash payment was made on the 29th January 2013,

On the 1st a double debit order went off my account, after a cash payment was made, I immediately notified Vodacom of this, and sent through statements and proof of payments ect, after contacting the call center on Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, still no refund has been received.
Andile, a gentleman at vodacom on Tuesday 5th of Feb then told me my account had been credited to my vodacom account, NOT my banking account, which is not what I requested.
My rental was due on the 1st and due to a double debit order (which was not even checked if that was suitable for me) I am unable to pay my full required rental this month, my landlord is an aggressive man, who arrived at my house on Monday morning, Monday evening, and today on Tuesday in order to c collect his rent.
And I do not have the full amount, which is terrifying for me, as he is threatening myself and my family, he is returning tonight, and is expecting the balance to be paid, and I get told to wait 7-13 days, is there no compassion???
