My debit order goes off like clock work every month except this month it didn''t. I was notified only on 10 June that my account account was in arrears. Then on the 13 June I was sent an sms to say that Vodacom is aware of the technical error with the debit order and that I would be updated shortly. Today I get a letter to pay the debit order amount outstanding due to their error (!) within 7 days otherwise face consequences of non payment (which they list). Unacceptable to treat good paying customers like this when I had nothing to do the technical glitch Vodacom experienced re the debit order. I have 4 contracts with Vodacom and don't expect to be treated this way. I might just change service providers when I renew!!
