My data contract expires tomorrow and I have been to 2 MTN branches to have the data contract converted to a voice contract. Both branches I have been to - East Rand Mall and Norwood promised me that they would call me with progress and I never got as much as a please call me. Today I called the Branch Manager of Norwood who told me that the man that had failed to assist me on Sunday would follow up and call me back and that the branch would be open until 18h00. I arrived at the store at 17h40 and the doors were locked. I finally got the attention a white service consultant who was incredibly arrogant and wouldn't even come to the door to listen to what I had to say. I have 2 contracts with MTN as I thought they were possibly better than the other service providers, but after the past 2 weeks of empty promises and no progress, it is evident that that they are from it. I am shocked at the service failure and poor customer treatment and am seriously considering moving to another provider - carrier pigeon would probably be more effective at this point. Absolutely shocking - I work in customer service and MTN is lacking greatly. Unless my query is resolved in 48 hours, its yello Cell C
