Bad service and Apathetic staff

My contract ended on the 28th of October 2013, I had been eagerly awaiting the date so that I could downgrade to a more cost effective contract. I decided to go with the LG Optimus L1 II.

I first dealt with The Bryanston branch (28 October 2013) and then with the Norwood branch (1 November 2013). Both branches have to date been unable to order the phone, they say that there is no stock or that they just don't know. The Norwood branch kept asking me if it was a phone that was in there catalog (yello trader) and I pointed out that not only has it been in the catalog for the past three months, but it is also on display at the door. (although still with August's pricing - norwood store). generally the staff although friendly, just don't seem cared.

Instead of tangible solutions to the problem or a coherent reply to my request i keep getting responses like, we've never sold that phone before, or that they aren't LG fans personally, or whatever MTN sends us that's what we get.

The phone has been in MTN's catalog for the last three months, its also being offered by both Cell c and Vodacom. So surely stock cannot be an option. Why advertise a phone that you cant deliver.
