I upgraded my daughter's cell phone contract in October of last year. We were told at the store that the contract included data which was a pre-requisite for any contract my daughter was going to select.

In the interim she went overseas and so could not use her new phone and contract for two months. Upon her return and when she inserted her local sim card we found her data did not come through. I contacted the call centre and was told the store had omitted to process the data and it would be done within two to four weeks. In the interim I bought my daughter more data. This month no data again. I spoke to a gent called Thembi at the call centre who informed me that despite the fact that the store had informed us data is incuded on her contract, it does not include data and we must take it up with the store. I queried why we were not contacted to have this explained to us in the interim and was told "we don't do that we are just the call centre"!

Always quick to take our money - follow up - non existant.
