Out of Bundle Daylight - Beware

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab, with 2gb data every month. One gig for daytime and one nightowl 12pm to 5am. Now, without knowing, I had used up my daytime gig. At this point, Vodacom should have made me aware of the extortionate prices they charge for going out of bundle, something in the region of R30 per MEGABYTE. Imagine, to my amazement, what happened when my bill was emailed to me and instead of the normal R300/R350, I was charged R3800. I obviously could not pay all at once, so they cut my service off in April last year. Yet despite this, I still had to pay for the data, which I was obviously unable to use due to being disconnected. So in effect I missed out on 10gb, which I had paid for. I have since paid my account and will never give Vodacom another cent of my money.
They are a disgrace, and yes, I do see RED every time one of their pathetic adverts appears. All my family are now in the process of obtaining another provider for their communications, I know it wont affect Vodacom, but it gives me peace of mind.
