I purchased a 5Gb data bundle around 14/12/2013. When I checked online, I had been billed but could not see the remaining balance on that 5Gb bundle. Even after several phone calls Vodacom could not explain why it wasnt being loaded and said they expect to have a response by 09/01/2014. On 21/12/2013 call centre agent Andiswa had agreed that it would be loaded retrospectively so that I could carry on using data and it would come out of the bundle.
I have now received the tax invoice and see that I have been charged for both the bundle and R464.50 for out-of bundle data. I am not looking forward to all the phone calls I am going to have to make again before this gets resolved but I will make sure I get my money back and in the process make as many potential customers as possible aware of Vodacom practices.
