On the 21/12/2013 i took my blackberry 9320 for repairs at the Durban Old Fort Repair Centre. When i spoke to the consultant i was told it must be the battery, prior to that i took my blackberry to another outlet and i was told it was the battery and there seems to be a defect with the Blackberry 9320 batteries. On the 24/12/2013 I received an sms saying my Blackberry was sent for higher level repair to the Advanced Repair Centre, On the 02/01/2014 i received another sms, saying that my Blackberry was received by the Advanced Repair Centre. On the 08/01/2014, that being after i acquired about the status, I received an sms saying my blackberry is currently in the assessment process at the Advanced Repair Centre. i then called yesterday and this morning, i was told that it has liquid damaged which will cost R1700. I told the consultant i fail to understand how that could be possible for my blackberry was never exposed to water, heat or steam. He then tells me it could of happened while bathing or cooking. Now really am i such an to go into the bathroom full of steam with my phone and hold the phone while cooking. Im so dissapointed with the service i received from Vodacom
