Unable to upgrade using the online portal

I was looking to upgrade to the Sony Xperia (TM) Z on smart S have been trying since Friday and tried using on line smart-com (that said I must retry in 3 months ){my contract expires then} . I want to upgrade and stay a Vodacom customer but it has been so frustrating that if I cant upgrade I will just wait and cancel my contract for good. seems like Vodacom loves to loose loyal customers.
