Sent SMS to Upgrade but cannot Upgrade

I was sent an SMS from Vodacom that i can upgrade to the latest device, i drove to my Vodacom store to find out that i still have to wait a month to upgrade after phoning Vodacom customer care for them to refuse. What is the point of sending an SMS to a customer to upgrade when they cannot. I have been a customer of vodacom for 12 years and you can't even let me upgrade 28 days earlier where i was told i was due for upgrade. If this is the way Vodacom works then i shall look to another service provider to have my business as well as the other people in my company that are on the company account. This is a joke!
