Account and not even an apology

On 27 Nov 2012 I received an SMS from VVM (Vodacom's Debt Collection Agency) that Vodacom handed me over for non payment of an account. I immediately contacted and was told that i need to send an affidavit and copy of my ID. Heard nothing from them until 31 Dec when i received another sms stating that i will be black listed. Called then immediately and was told that they did not receive my affidavit and ID. I resent the fax confirmation sheet as well as an email with all the requested documentation again. Again i received a threatening sms on 17 Jan 13 - got hold of the complaints manager at VVM and resent all the information for a 3rd time. followed up on 29 Jan 13 and was told that Vodacom has not responded. On 30 Jan i received an email stating that the case will be closed as the account was opened - not even an apology. I am appaled. They informed me that my credit record will be updated but it will take 48 hours, which till today is not fixed. Not once did Vodacom contact me while this was ongoing or afterwards to apologise. Be careful of these!!! needless to say VVM is just as useless as they have 3 copies of my ID that cannot be accounted fo
