I upgraded my contract about two weeks ago.
As of the beginning of this week, MTN sent me a SMS to rate my experience. I do not use my phone to access the net; only if absolutely necessary. I therefore ignored this SMS.
The SMS's continued with the third one being sent at 04:25 on Wednesday morning.
I phoned 808 yesterday (Wednesday) and was assured by the consultant that this was an automated system and should only send a SMS once. He aplologised for the inconvenience and assured me that the problem will be corrected.
Since then, I received two more of these SMS's.
This now borders on harrassment and I cannot believe that they will allow a system to send a SMS at 04:25 in the morning: It shows a lack of respect to their customers' privacy and private time.
