My Data contract with MTN had expired end of September 2013 but only cancelled the contract in November 2013. I gave Mtn a notice that i will be cancelling the contract at the end of the month but still needed to use up all the free bundles. Then the following month I get a ridiculous bill that I owe them R1900 whereas I have been paying R189 every month for almost 2 years, they told me on one day I used the internet for 12 hours during the week, which crazy person stares at their laptop for 12hours and doesn't log off, is that even possible when I was at work. Mtn please get your facts right, just because am closing my contract now you want to rip me off, they sent me a bill of R 200.40 on the 17/12/12 and tried to debit R930 from my account on 31/12/13 which is it? I don't owe you a cent.
