MUST PAY 1 YEAR EXTRA ON ACC

I took out a Iphone contract from Vodacom in 2010, however the phone got shortly after i got it even before i had it insured. This was my error though and i paid a year on the account, i went in to the branch to check if i theres nothing they can do in reducing fees as this was quite a steep contract and the gentleman WORKING AT VODA said we can do a premature downgrade as my bill was about 2000.00 for the last few months. we took a huwaei tablet and on top of this contract i still had to pay the i phone for 24 months in full (which i understand)
Now i have been paying this siince 2011 and the 24 month term should be up early in 2013, so i went to vodacom late last year 2012 to ask about my upgrade date and the guy tell me it is april 2014, i asked if it was a 3 year contract, he said no, but i did a premature upgrade and that would be the reason.
THIS WAS NEVER EXPLAINED TO ME NOR MY SON THAT WAS WITH ME AT THE TIME.
SO VODACOM IS CONNING ME INTO ANOTHER YEAR OF PAYING FOR THE CHEAPEST TABLET ON THE MARKET AFTER I PAID 2 YEARS IN FULL FOR THE IPHONE AND TWO YEARS FOR THE TABLET AND ALL MY AIRTIME ALSO PAID

THIS IS A DISGRACE.
VODACOM IS CONNING PEOPLE AND MISINFORMING THEM
