Hi, I've been a loyal customer of Vodacom for over 10 years and was NOT notified of my upgrade via sms or mail as I usually have been in the past. As a result, 3 years have lapsed with me paying my contract monthly Top Up 75 and I did not receive my phone. Last year April I moved to the Netherlands for work and activated my contract to be on sms roaming at the Vodacom centre at the Bridge. I was told I was not able to receive my upgrade phone then as it was too early when I enquired and that my vodacom statements will no longer be sent to my old home address in Port Elizabeth (due to my move). Now I have become aware that I have been eligible for my new upgrade phone and would like it due to the fact that I have been paying my contract continuously. I'm in year 3 post being able to upgrade already (2 years have lapsed). I also have been told upon enquiry that I am now on a month to month contract, which I did not authorise or was made aware of. Is this the type of service that Vodacom offers loyal customers? I paid my two years so would like my free upgrade phone and for it to be sent to me therefore my contract should be backdated as the fault is not on my part. Pls advise
