In Dec 2011 i entered a contract with MTN which contract expired this month.
The contract stipulates that it can be cancelled by written notice, which written notice i handed in at your MTN Store at Cresta Shopping Mall (Entrance #1), however it seems that the staff did not forward my letter of cancellation. The refused to confirm receipt of this letter either.
Last Friday, I went into a MTN shop and was told that i have to do the cancellation via phone. Since i had to capture my mtn number, i could only phone from a land line. Currently i am sitting in front of my computer waiting for more than 50 minutes to be transferred to the cancellation department.
Dear MTN, kindly cancel my contract. My account number is (see below) and confirm cancellation in writing to my Email address. Thank you.
