Since joining MTN I can honestly say that I've never experienced such poor service from any other provider. The call centre is not knowledgeable, does not solve any problems and are extremely rude.
I signed up for a monthly commitment of R399.
The bills I have received thus far amount to up to 4 times this signed commitment.
I have attempted on multiple occasions to obtain a proper explanation for these bills and to obtain some sort of resolution going forward. I have sent a number of emails and tried to resolve this through the call center. MTN wants to charge an exorbitant amount to provide a breakdown of charges!! Whilst I was awaiting feedback on my first bill, the second and third bills arrived!
There doesn't seem to be any people working at the accounts department, since you never get through to a living person. Don't even think about speaking to a manager, regardless of the nature of the problem - management is simply too busy to concern themselves with the billing issues of customers.
I don't know what else to do to get someone from MTN to assist, so I've stopped the debit order at my bank. I need a SENIOR manager to contact me and sort out this nonsense URGENTLY.
