First Prize for Worst Support and Incompetence

I switched our domain hosting and emails to Afrihost on 22 November. I was told that the email setup would take a day or two. I have been calling their call centre most days since as we cannot receive emails.
Each time I have to hold for a long while before speaking to a support person.
Each one can see that emails sent to us are bouncing back to the senders.
I hired a private support tech to look at it. He found that the DNS settings which Afrihost was paid to set up was incorrect - MX pointing to google and not Afrihost.
I sent an email with a snapshot of the settings and what it should be. No response. Called Support. Usual wait. Pointed out the wrong DNS settings. Ahhh sorry I will fix it. Mx settings changed. Still can't receive emails. Call support again. Usual long wait. Baldwin says emails being directed to spam. Will fix. Yeah right!
Still no email. Call again today. Spoke to three consultants. They are still trying to fix it.

I am convinced that Afrihost does not have any qualified people employed in their support centre. Sales are hotshot at getting you signed up. Call back is almost immediate. Billing is lightning fast. Invoice arrived just after sign up.
