I dropped my phone off at The Vodacom Cresta Repairs Branch after the screen had just gone blank, before I called I enquired what could be done and I was informed that I would need to pay R2000 before they even assessed the phone. My phone was handed over to a consultant who informed me that they were currently off line and I would receive an sms with a job number and a technician would contact me asap.
After days of waiting, I called and my phone could not be located, I was told a technician would contact me and let me after an assessment.
A technician called rude as ever and told me I had to pay roughly R2000 to repair my phone, no explanation was give as to why it got damaged and how it was going to be fixed he repeatedly told me about the R2000 and that my phone was out of warranty and I had to pay.
I requested to speak to the manager and he said, the manage refuses to speak to me all I have to do is pay. on asking him what was wrong with the phone the response was it could have been something you did, which was not a concrete answer, and again R2000 was shoved in my ear.
I've been with Vodacom for years it is clear that you are a money drive company with no regard for clients
