Vodacom
Faulty Hardware

I recently had my Samsung Galaxy S2's screen repaired by a vodacom repair centre in Canal Walk. After the phone was returned I noticed that it would show black and white horizontal lines and that the screen would flash white before showing the screen and sometimes it would just switch off. I asked a consultant at a Vodacom shop and he told me my phone was under a 3 month warranty for the work done on the phone. He told me I would have to return it to the repair centre. I spent close to R2000 fixing the phone only for it to be doing the same thing again. Due to an unforeseen circumstance my screen got cracked AFTER i had already noticed the horizontal and vertical black and white lines. I am well aware that the cracking of the screen is my fault but the screen crack hasnt made impaired what was already happening anymore. When I finally had time and went to the Vodacom repairs shop I was rudely told that I will just have to pay the R2000 again because I had cracked the screen. If the screen is under warranty for the 3 months, why will they not fix the problem that is obviously their fault (the black and white horizontal lines).
