I recently tried to insure my prepaid cellphone through vodacom. I received two sms. One saying activated and then one immediately afterwards cancelling. Upon calling the call centre i was informed that i couldnt be covered as my fone was in use for more than 7 days. I was told that if i had purchased the fone through a vodashop i would have been told this. But i got my phone through fnb. HOW WAS I SUPPOSE TO KNOW THIS IF NO ONE TOLD ME!!! I asked the lady if there was nothing that could be done because i had no way of knowing this and was told that that's how they work and there's nothing she can do :(
