6 days gone sim card not activated yet?

I upgraded from an I phone 4 to I phone 5 S. Due to different formats of sim cards a new sim card had to be activated by MTN. All ready received confirmation on Thursday by SMS that I have been successfully upgraded. Nothing happened whole long weekend.
Went to store on Mon. Had to go through stack of contracts in store ourselves, to proof that all paperwork has been received and processed by them. Donette wanted us to bring new necessary documents. As l had all ready got new phone, please explain this. Showed her approved documents. Promise of activation in an hour. Got a ref nr. 7464730. Nothing.
Phoned Customer service, 808, on Tuesday 10H54. New reference (107242836). It will be done swiftly...
Nothing happened in 7hours and we are nearly on week later...
