I have a blackberry bold 9790 on contract with MTN. Last Monday I took it in since the phone switched off and could not be restarted again. The phone was sent away and on Thursday I received a refurbished blackberry. Two days later however I received a sim card error message. I took it in to the MTN store again and was told that there was a problem with the sim card reader, apparently a very common bb problem. Again I was told that the phone will have to be send away and, if I'm lucky, I will receive another refurbished phone by the end of next week. My issue with this is the fact that I have to pay keep on paying my contract but I don't get the service I've signed up for on my part, which is a bb that is in working condition. No one takes responsibility for the fact that this is a faulty device, not bb nor MTN. It only comes down to the customer having to keep on paying despite the fact that there is clearly serious issues with the phone.
