I took over someone else's internet contract (Nashua Mobile). When I received my first bill I noticed a charge of R150. On enquiry I found out that the R150 is a transfer fee. I was never informed that I would be charged for the transfer, nor was this charge on any of the documents I signed. The person I took over the contract from, was also never informed that there would be a charge.
I requested that the fee be waived since I was never informed but the response I got denied me this waiver. This is very unfair. Customers should always be informed of charges that they will be held accountable for before the transaction is dealt with.
