Over charged?

I upgrade my cell phone contract on the 10 Jan 2013. the statement came for Jan, and was still charged the old fee, i was also charge R80 for the upgrade.
the february statement came and i now have been charged the high fee for the new contract, which is fine, but i was also charge R114.50 as "pro rata" for january because i upgraded. but i have already paid for january on the old fee? so should nashua mobile then give me a credit of half of the old jan fees??
and secondly i was quoted R209 for the package (and i asked if this include BIS, Itemised billing which i was told yes it does) now to be charged R229 plus the R24 for itemised billing.

nashua mobile, should then tell customers, that if they upgrade they will be charged extra, and another thing, how does the statement run, cos they date from the 15th to the 15th? shouldnt i then be charges pro rata from the 10th jan to the 15 jan to when the statement says? nashua mobile is quick to do the upgrade, and take our money, but they dont tell you of all the hidden costs involved, if they had i would have waited till month end to upgrade.
