I lost my phone on Friday 6th December 2013, and since I was in need of a phone and I did receive an sms from MTN that I was due to an upgrade, I walked to the Gugulethu Mall, it is only 5 minutes from where I stay. I also stood in queue and eventually this lady called Vuvu assisted me. I gave her my Id book and mentioned that I have a number of contracts with MTN, and I lost my primary phone I didnt not know which number was due for an upgrade. Seh then asked for the number I lost, which I provided. After a while she got a personal and decided to answer that. When she came back she asked me a couple of questions which she said were security questions, after a while she then said she cannot give me the phone because I had answered the questions wrongly, and that she didnt see me due for any upgrade, and that it was only in May and September. She then implied that I was trying to do, which then her colleague came also and didnt see that I was due for an upgrade. I was disgusted by their behaviour becasue they then suggested I go to one of their branches, which was vangate mall, I went to vangate, was asked the same questions, and I got my upgrade, no hassles.
