Last Wednesday (today is Friday) I signed up for an ipad through MTN. I picked it up the same day and found the sim card in the bag. Put the sim card in the iPad - no internet connection.By Monday, still no internet connection and I received a call from Isaac to say there was a problem with activating the sim and he would call me when it was working.
By Wednesday no call, so I called MTN and was given a reference number 1068 245 90 and told it would be sorted out. It is now Friday and I called MTN who told me they could not help as it was a business contract and I needed to speak to Isaac. They transferred me (it took ages) and I finally reached a voicemailbox saying it was full and no messages could be left and I was cut off.
I called MTN AGAIN only to be told the card was still not activated and I would need to send an email with ID, sim number and letterhead requesting the sim be activated. All the stuff I did when I applied for the iPad. Totally ridiculous. Double work, I don't have time for this nonsense. MTN sort this out.
