Can't get LTE activated

So after the whole upgrade debacle I eventually receive my phone delivered to me and after having to go into the branch (which I wanted to avoid hence agreeing to the tele marketing effort of upgrading me telephonic) to get the correct sim for the phone - I now discover my LTE is not working. I've been trying for two days to activate the sim via the Autopage technical service centre. Each time I'm told to restart the phone and it will work. Every time it doesn't. Every time I phone back I need to tell the whole story cause you can't get back to the person who helped you initially. Each time I need to be patronised by a smart Allec who tells me LTE only works in certain areas. Each time I need to explain that I am standing next to another MTN user with the same phone who has complete LTE reception... And then I'm told to restart again. So I asked to speak to a manager. After holding for 5 minutes I'm informed he will phone me back when he has time as he is very busy. This was 2.5 hours ago...

Your service is the worst I've had in years and I'm so sorry I ever upgraded. I was actually at the end of my contract and could have gone to another supplier!!!
