I was given option to upgrade, tried to upgrade to Sony Xpreria Z at Soneike Mall MTN, was helped by Igshaan Davids. Contract with phone IMEI number was emailed to my mother. contract is in her name. Contract was signed by both parties and returned. Phone had to be sent back because of insurance issues. Waited a week, phoning every day to inquire. Week later was told "Not getting this phone into stock anymore, I'll phone you back" till this day havent heard back.

Went to MTN Eikestad Mall, was helped by Nadia Davids, told her the story, she located a branch with stock and ordered a courier to fetch it. Once again made out a contract, emailed it and it was signed and returned. Waited 2 weeks for the phone to arrive from a branch thats less than 100km away. Upon returning to the store after 2 weeks was very apologetically informed by Nadia that one of her colleagues had sold the phone to someone else in her absence which is unfair because she informed all her colleagues in store that the phone was for me and the person it was sold to took out a new contract after the phone was no longer advertised. Nadia couldn't find another phone for me. This violates my Consumer Protection Act.
