I obtained a phone from MTN Campus square on the 8th of October 2013, a Galaxy Note 3, only for the phone to be faulty. After enquiring with the service assistants I was informed that "it must be something that I downloaded" and not the fact that the phone was faulty. Eventually I decided to hand in the phone less than 6 weeks of having this phone. I was informed that it needed to go for a warranty assessment and that this would take 7 days. After 7 days I contacted the store, this date being the 18th only to be told nothing has come through.
Every 2- 3 days thereafter I would either call or drive to the store and enquire and I would be told by the consultants that they would call me once they have checked the status of the claim. This never happened up until today I had to call and vent my frustrations before they gave me a number to call.
Once I did this which took all of three minutes with a very helpful lady called Gugu, I was informed my claim was approved on 18th November. This means no one even made an effort to resolve my query which is unacceptable for any service provider.
