I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service that I have received from MTN since the inception of my new cell phone contract in May 2013.
I have sent a letter of complaint to complaints@mtn on the 28th of October2013, (Reference: 7234162). Im still waiting for a response.
MTN has failed to deliver in almost every way imaginable.
To name a few:
Uninformed and incompetent call centre operators's negligence contributed directly to the astronomical cellphone bills i have received. More about this in the full letter of complaint.
Furthermore, it is not possible for me to set a monthly limit on my account. I find this absolutely ridiculous, and just proves again that the contract is designed to rip off customers instead of delivering a good and honest service. (It would be a bonus if anybody could explain to me what the use is of having a credit limit if you can exceed it by double the amount.
I have come to the conclusion that the only way in which to control this contract, is to terminate it.
