Greetings,

Cutting a looooong story short. I was planning to buy a laptop cash on Saturday 02 November 2013 when I received a call from Vodacom Data Sales Centre by Lawrence on 01 November 2013 offering an HP laptop with Vodacom internet modem. This came as a relief as I was planning to buy mine cash and this included the inconvenience of shopping around for a good and affordable device and I needed the laptop urgently due to the nature of my work as the company only uses desktops. I instantly signed up for the offer and in addition I was offered a 10 inch 16GB iPad and the total amount of the 24 months contract was R670.00. Least to mention that I had to constantly make follow ups on my order by calling 082 1945. I spoke to Zama, Sphamandla, Ozayo, Thobeka while Thoko was the least helpful customer agent who kept on telling me there is nothing she can do.
To date I haven't received my order and I also experienced the same when ordering the iPhone in the beginning of August only received it end of August and it was also confirmed stock was available. Is this a trend to conclude order with a false promise?
