On the 17th october 2013, we upgraded the contract at vaal mall branch vodacom 4u shop, for a data contract package that was taken with an HP laptop. Two weeks later, the laptop would not switch on. We took it to a vodacom shop at Welkom only to be told we must take the laptop to HP Africa. HP Africa said we should take the laptop back to Vodacom for exchange since it was only two weeks old. 5th November we took the laptop to Vodacom branch in Vaal mall but only to be told by a lady called Hellen that there is nothing they can do because now it is not their issue but HP Africa. After an argument and upon calling HP Africa, she finally took the laptop and promised their technician will check and will give a call to update what is happening with the laptop. Today, it is the 14th November, no call has been made to update. We use the laptop for business, as much as Hellen said there is nothing she can do to save the business, either by loaning us a laptop or speeding up the repairs or replacement of the equipment, the business is struggling because we had good reason for choosing data contract and come month end, debits will be going through. We need it asap.
