Poor repair service - Customer: Sasha Viljoen

I booked in my Samsung S4 mini at Vodacom Tyger Valley to be repaired as the LCD screen of the phone cracked due to my own doing. Therefore, I was more than willing to pay the book in fee of R 57.00 and get the phone repaired for the quoted amount of R 1995.00. After not even having the phone back for a week, the LCD screen cracked at the same right hand side area where it was supposed to be repaired. I immediately took the phone back to the store, where I was told I would have to pay the same amount if I wanted the phone to be repaired. However, this time the cracked phone was not my doing, therefore I refused to pay for the phone to be repaired. I asked to speak to the Repairs Manager, but there was no manager on floor to assist me. One of the Technical employees said that he would e-mail the manager who would get back to me the next day. I was also told to return to the store the next day for the manager. I returned the next day to the store to find out that there was no manager on floor again. I find this highly unprofessional of Vodacom, as I felt that there was no one who could assist me and felt taken advantaged of as a customer. I am utterly disgusted with Vodacom!!!
