Vodacom is refusing to fix the faulty power button (a known fault on iPhones), even though the phone is under warranty. Their excuse (similar to the "water damage" of the past) is that the phone has "physical damage" - which is simple wear and tear on an aluminium device.
Their customer service is even more useless, paying lip service with no action whatsoever, even when they "escalate" the query.
Flaunting the CPA and Law of Contract, they are also unwilling to supply me with a contract which shows the clauses with such exclusions, with their best answer being that "I should have a copy".
All in all, an incompetent organisation, employing incompetent people, with a particular disdain for the customer.
