I phoned the Vodacom Cancellation department in July this year, they said that my contract expires on the 1st of October 2013 and that I need to phone and give 30 days notice in order to terminate the contract. I subsequently phoned on the last day of August 2013 to officially cancel my contract. I spoke to a female operator but unfortunately did not record her name. She cancelled my contract and said that even though my contract ends on the 1st of October I would have to still pay for the month of October. I agreed to this. It is now the 2nd of November and the debit order came off AGAIN. I once again phoned the call centre and waited 20minutes to speak to a consultant who said that my contract expires on the 31st of October and that I pay in arrears for October which contradicted what I had been told. I am more than angry at the poor customer service and wrongful information that I was given. I have had nothing but problems with this Vodacom contract and will never use their services again.
