Cell C changed all their contracts to data contracts and my contract would no longer be valid due to that. So I decided to take out a contract with Vodacom as they had a very similar contract to what I have with Cell C. In May 2013 I decided to find out by Cell C when my contracts 2 years is up as I want to cancel and move over to Vodacom. I was informed that my contracts 2 years ends on 30 July 2013 and to cancel it I must give notice by the end of June 2013. I then went to Vodacom took out the new contract with them. At the end of June 2013 I emailed Cell C like 6 times to cancel my contract and never received a response. I then went to Cell C and cancelled it face to face. At the end of August 2013 I realised I was still get messages from Cell C. I have now found out that my Cell C contract only ends the end of October 2013. So I asked them what now. Their response was " You must pay for both contracts, nothing we can do sorry! " If that was the case I would of waited a few more months before I took the Vodacom contract, now every month I am losing money because of Cell C.
