I am absolutely LIVID at the moment. I called Virgin Mobile in SEPTEMBER to find out when my contract expires - they told me NOVEMBER. I requested them to put in a cancellation of the contact to convert it over to pre-paid as soon as possible. They told me that it will be converted end of OCTOBER and that I will be notified. In November I went into a Virgin Mobile store (subsequently the store has now closed!) to confirm the status of account and they checked on the system and told me in the conversion is "in progress". I was billed again yesterday (they said last bill will be December to cover November when contract was finished) and today I phoned (after many many attempts to the call centre) and they tell me THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF CANCELLATION! WTH??
I honestly don't give a rats @$$ if the system doesn't have it logged - I phoned with enough notice to get the contract cancelled. I want this contract cancelled IMMEDIATELY! I refuse to pay another month's subscription & will cancel this debit order straight away since the
