Upgrade department tell us different things

My cell phone contract is in my husbands name. Which vodacom already know frustrates me. I'm a stay at home mom, so I cannot put it in my name. My phone contract is due to get a new handset upgrade on the 1st of November. I say the 1st because when I call 0821959 the automated voice even says the 1st. The call centre agents say the 2nd. Regardless, my husband Steven called on Friday, the man said he cannot give us a link/details on handsets yet, could he call us back Saturday. Yes, he didn't call back. Saturday afternoon my husband called again, and a different person said no he can't send us details yet, can we please call back the sunday. So Sunday comes, we call - again a different person. This time he says no, we can't have a link/details. We can only get that on the 2nd. But I'm pretty sure from my previous upgrade that my husband called a week before and we chose a phone - but we only got the phone after the upgrade - that's fine, but now vodacom will not even supply us or my husband rather with a link? Please explain how 3 different people tell us 3 different things. IF there is a way to see what handsets are available on my number, please can you EMAIL my husband.
