No feedback re handset

Good day. I booked a blackberry in for repairs at Vodacom .the handset was sent to the advance repair centre .when calling I was told they cannot repair the unit .please explain this to me this as this unit couldn't be fixed in port Elizabeth neither the advance repair centre, since booking this unit in I have received no sms alerts to the progress of this unit .the phone is used for business purposes and was told theres no loan phones.please tell me when I am receiving my phone as i pay a subscription every month to have a handset
